The challenges of trying to lose weight are all too well known to those who have struggled with weight most of their lives.  I have been one of those people. So I truly understand what my patients are feeling when they first come to The Broadway Clinic seeking help with weight loss.

I have experienced the challenges of weight loss firsthand - the setbacks and the frustrations. However, I also have experienced firsthand what losing just a little weight can mean for one’s health. I recently decided once again to achieve my weight loss goal and have dropped 30 pounds so far.

It’s really amazing how a little weight loss can change your appearance, your mood and your health too.  The fact is weight loss of only 10 percent can have a profound impact on your health. In fact, while many are motivated to begin losing weight to improve their appearance, I have found most are strongly motivated to continue when they start feeling better.

“I have more energy than I ever have had. I went from a size 18/20 to now wearing a size 12 and my cholesterol has gone from 256 to 174. So I feel great,” said Wanda Martin who lost 56 pounds in one of our programs at The Broadway Clinic.

“I am no longer a diabetic. I no longer have high blood pressure. I have my life back,” said Windell Main, who lost 120 pounds.

The Broadway Clinic utilizes a variety of weight loss programs, including the increasingly popular hCG protocol, which produces incredibly rapid results with many patients losing 30 pounds in their very first month. Now, The Broadway Clinic is the first in Oklahoma to offer a new tablet form of hCG marketed under the brand name Opti-Lean.

hCG is a naturally occurring hormone in the body. When used in combination with a very low calorie diet, it produces dramatic weight loss results very rapidly. Many patients lose 30 pounds the first month.

hCG works by targeting abnormal stores of fat, particularly around the midsection, while preserving lean body mass. We have found that the rapid weight loss results are a great motivator to stay with the program.

“It’s the most amazing thing I’ve every come across,” said Windell.

The hCG tablet form is shelf-stable, whereas previous formulations required refrigeration, making it difficult for those who travel to stick with the program. The Opti-lean tablets change that.
