Quick and easy – That’s what Debbie Kjelshus was looking for in a weight loss program when she signed up for the contest.

Debbie felt like she needed to lose 70 pounds. Weight has been a longtime struggle for Debbie and she’d been to the Broadway Clinic once before. She says it was a wonderful experience and she had some success, but with the passage of time, the pounds crept back.

“I just decided if it worked before it would work again, so I went back to the Broadway Clinic. They’re really nice and always have a lot of different strategies to try.   They know every way in the world to lose weight, so I know I can find something that will work for me there.”

Debbie began her structured program in January. After five weeks, she was thrilled to have lost 8 pounds. One of the biggest changes for Debbie was no more eating out, but she says the side benefit of saving money makes that a win-win. She sticks with a 1,200-calorie-a-day program that includes a lot of fruit, but definitely no candy. Debbie also cut out soda and banished greasy foods altogether.  “I feel so much healthier and I know I have done the right thing.”

Debbie says participating in the Biggest Winner Contest is a fun way to help keep motivated. She says the prizes being offered are a great figurative carrot to dangle while she cheerfully munches down on her real carrots and watches the numbers on the scale plunge.

Debbie says she is feeling very confident and looks forward to continued success in reaching her goal.
